NIGERIA DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION REPORT

Since 2021, we have set ourselves the ambitious goal of assessing the state of diversity, equity, and inclusion among the leading companies in Nigeria. 


For the third time, our team of specialists analysed the levels of DEI as seen in the boards and management teams of over 160 Nigerian corporations and results show that the indices for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are still below acceptable levels.

In our study, we focused on four DEI parameters:

  • Gender Diversity,
  • Age Diversity,
  • Ethnic Diversity,
  • Education Backgrounds.


We analysed 161 leading organisations in Nigeria under these parameters on two levels:

  • Management Teams,
  • Boards of Directors.
