Our International Talent team has been working with The Culture Factor Group to enrich the decision-process of executive level international moves and to ensure we support candidates in the best possible way on their journey into a new McDonald’s market. With this work we are creating higher awareness that it is not only about professional skills and intercultural competencies in general, but about the cultural specifics and nuances of the respective target market that contribute to a successful international move. Therefore, we are using a combination of the Culture Compass, Cultural Adaptability Profile and executive debriefs. The assessment and debrief process was seamless, insightful, and highly actionable — it sparked meaningful conversations among the participants and their teams and gave them a deeper understanding of cultural dynamics, even between neighboring countries. It was very easy and highly practical to implement and execute this approach in our business – together with The Culture Factor Group.
